A Clearly Different Way to Straighten Teeth

Morita Orthodontics offers patients a variety of treatment options including but not limited to Invisalign. Invisalign makes use of a series of transparent, customized, removable aligners that straighten teeth without wires and brackets. When you’re wearing Invisalign, most people won’t even notice you’re undergoing treatment. The esthetic nature of this treatment option makes Invisalign one of the most popular ways to improve smiles.

The Invisalign Difference

Invisalign is a very modern and highly convenient way to straighten teeth. Using custom created aligner trays, which are virtually invisible to others, your smile is corrected and improved upon aesthetically without the use of any wires or brackets. The aligners are made of smooth plastic, making them comfortable to wear. Since there are no metal wires or brackets used with Invisalign, there is nothing present to poke, pinch or irritate your mouth which are all common problems with conventional metal braces.

As an Invisalign patient, you are given a series of aligners, which gradually move your teeth step-by-step until they’re in the final position prescribed by your orthodontist. Each aligner in the series is calibrated with precision and made to fit over your teeth at each stage of your treatment plan.

The entire Invisalign treatment process consists of four simple steps:

1

Visit our Honolulu or Aiea orthodontics office to find out if you're a candidate for Invisalign.

2

If you are a candidate for Invisalign, your orthodontist will send precise treatment instructions to Align Technology, the maker of Invisalign.

3

The aligners are custom crafted just for you according to the treatment plan devised by your orthodontist.

4

You will be instructed to wear each set of aligners for approximately two-three weeks for the duration of your treatment. You are only to remove the aligners when eating and when cleaning your teeth.

As you move from one set of aligners to the next, your teeth will move gradually, week by week until the final alignment prescribed by your orthodontist is obtained. Then you will have a great reason to show off your smile as it will be a brand new, straight smile you can wear proudly for the rest of your life!
